Zoom into the Xtend Portal

The Xtend Portal is a modern web portal designed for a fast implementation.It can be adapted to any kind of user population (customers, agents…) and insurance product. The Portal aims to enhance customer experience and relationship. 

Different options can be added on top of the web portal such as a Live Chat and/ or Chat bot, allowing the customer to be supported and reassured at any moment.

Multiple functionalities are available on this Portal: 

  • Quoting
  • Issuing a policy (and paying it)
  • Self-care
    • View policy information (coverages, limits, deductibles…)
    • Generate an insurance certificate
    • Manage and pay a bill
    • Report a claim
    • Update personal information

What is an API ?

API stands for application programming interface, which is a set of definitions and protocols for building and integrating application software.

You can use/define an API to connect different systems.

The Xtend portal is external from the back-end Sunlight Enterprise. It can be integrated with Sunlight Enterprise (or any other system) through APIs.
